The family run restaurant has been open since 1982 and is situated in an olive grove. You can cool off in the blue waters of the bay, rest on the restaurant΄s sun beds in the shades of the trees and sample the delights of the freshly cooked homemade food, which is always available.
      The food will give you a flavor of Greek Cuisine, including many vegetarian dishes, salads and local specialities. Ouzo or tsipouro with snacks are served and a variety of seafood is available. The local fresh fish is always well grilled, the lobster spaghetti is wonderful and the fish soup will be unforgettable. Orders in advance can be taken for the Alonissos meat pie or octopus pie.
      The restaurant «Megalos Mourtias» serves from early morning all types of coffee (greek coffee, nescafe, espresso, cappuccino, filter, etc.) and breakfast. It is open right through the day and both lunch and afternoon meals are available. You can also enjoy a romantic dinner gazing at the sunset or at the moon shining on the sea.
      To reach us you can walk down the road from the Old Village (about twenty minutes), come by taxi or your own transport. There is a private parking for customers. Another way is by boat and mooring is possible at the beach jetty. For nature enthusiasts and walkers there is the path from Patitiri to Megalos Mourtias, which takes about half an hour.
